Beverly Boulevard Trendy restaurant in the heart of Los Angeles

This project at Beverly Blvd was a complete renovation of a landmark restaurant space in a prime Los Angeles neighborhood. With several outdoor dining vignettes, indoor and outdoor bars, large-format booths and a private dining room, this job was multi-faceted and complex. Additionally, our team oversaw a complete kitchen build-out with cutting edge technologies, tools and culinary gadgets. The renovated space includes ADA compliant bathrooms, custom plastered moldings, antique herringbone patterned oak floors, copper clad wine cellars and high-end custom finishes throughout.

Beverly Drive Prime office space on a highly desirable street in Beverly Hills

This modern office space boasts a sleek and stylish design with high-end finishes. With ample natural light, this property offers an inspiring and inviting work environment with floor to ceiling glass doors in its open concept. Featuring multiple private offices, two conference rooms, a spacious reception area, and kitchen, this building is perfect for a wide variety of businesses and use cases.

Canfield Avenue 15-unit multifamily property situated in the highly sought-after Beverlywood neighborhood

Concord Construction oversaw all CapEx projects for the building including the high-end remodel for 10 units. The owner added washer and dryers to all units, thus needing to increase the main water and drain line sizing to comply with pluming code. The team also created an indoor gym, outdoor amenities such as grills, lounge area and lawn games, modernized all hallways and created a grand entryway. Additionally, a full facade remodel was completed with custom wood cladding, iron trellis details and a new landscape design. The project was completed on time and within budget.

West 3rd Street Newly renovated office space located in the heart of Beverly Grove

Concord Construction repositioned an obsolete office building into a warm industrial creative office space. With modern all-glass street front windows, this building sits on a prime location situated between The Grove and Beverly Center with hundreds of shopping and dining options in between. The space features six window offices, six interior offices, and a vibrant bullpen area, all designed for maximum efficiency with a cool-edge.

Detroit Street Iconic 1920’s 24-unit multifamily property in historic Hancock Park

This 4-story trophy property is tucked in a very desirable pocket of Hancock Park. Concord Construction oversaw all CapEx projects from start to finish and seamlessly renovated units as tenancy evolved. The beautifully remodeled units feature hardwood floors, in-unit washer/dryers, ceramic tile, granite countertops, new windows, new appliances and exposed brick. In the common areas, the team converted a dilapidated basement to include a movie theater, lounge, gym and a new laundry room. They also renovated all hallways with hardwood floors, modern light fixtures, artwork and a security system.

Melrose Avenue Modern retail space in the epicenter of the Melrose Shopping District

This project was a complete retail build out on one of the most coveted streets in Los Angeles. The site was a single unit retail space that Concord Construction converted into two distinct ones, adding a new foundation, steel framing, ADA wraps, and an additional restroom. The team added all new electrical and fire safety equipment to turn over this project in a turn-key, white-glove fashion.

Malcolm Ave Complete renovation for modern, luxury townhomes

Concord Construction completely stripped this multifamily building and oversaw new framing, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. The finished product is five modern townhomes in the heart of Westwood, all finished beautifully with balconies, top-notch kitchens, hardwood floors and large bedrooms. On the building’s exterior, the team completed hardscape, fencing, balconies, exterior stucco and custom wood façade fascia details.

Motor Avenue Beautifully designed religious space

Concord Construction is proud to be currently building two mikvehs for men and women for the Chabad of Cheviot Hills. The attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship is evident throughout the building, which will create a serene and welcoming environment for those who visit. Geary Street Prime office high-rise in an iconic and newly renovated building

Concord Construction executed the extensive renovations of this office tower in San Francisco’s Union Square. With new floor plans designed for team collaboration, natural light and updated common areas, this project showcases the successful remodeling of a 100-year old building into a highly-coveted multi-use tower. One of the building’s premier tenants, We Work, also contracted Concord Construction to complete a 4-floor buildout within this iconic tower.

Harper Ave Historic building renovation steps away from the Sunset Strip

Concord Construction restored the 1930’s Hollywood charm of this building with a complete renovation to bring modern touches to 20 of the 60 apartment units, in addition to common areas enhancements throughout. The team oversaw backyard renovations, an updated lobby design, extensive hallway restorations, and a new façade with landscape. Concord Construction worked closely with the City of West Hollywood’s Historic Preservation Department to secure permits and approvals to work on this unique asset. All renovations were completed on time and within budget.

Sherbourne Drive Apartment building renovation for 2.5x rent increase

The team worked on this complete building renovation while also maintaining its original features and Spanish design. Concord Construction led the exterior cosmetic work, system upgrades for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and open concept floor conversion. As a direct result from this renovation, rents increased 2.5x and the project saw a 40% ROI. This project was successfully completed ahead of schedule.

Kalhi Kearns

Director of Human Resources

Kalhi oversees human resources for the corporation which includes planning, leading and coordinating all talent-related functions and legal compliance duties. In her day to day, Kalhi ensures that the organization is attracting and retaining top talent by way of policies, benefits, learning and development opportunities and workplace efficiencies.

Kalhi loves to be out on the water and adores any type of speedboat.

Yentl Benhamou

Chief of Staff

Yentl has lived all around the world and recently settled back in Los Angeles to work for Concord Companies. In her role as Chief of Staff, Yentl proactively addresses the needs of each affiliated business line to ensure that projects are kept on time and on budget. Her daily focus is to streamline communication between the C-suite and all partners, ensuring strategy implementation for all. Yentl is passionate about real estate and is driven by the desire to make a positive impact on Concord’s growth plans.

Yentl was born in Paris and moved between Paris, Los Angeles and Tel Aviv in her earlier years. She has a keen interest in fashion and enjoys discovering new cultures through trying new foods.

Sarah Anderson

VP, Operations & Optimization

During her time at Concord, Sarah has worked in both the Operations and Accounting divisions in a variety of roles. She was recently promoted from Director of Systems and Organizational Development to Vice President, Operations & Optimization. In this role, Sarah will lead functions such as business growth, workflow optimization, and team efficiencies to ultimately make Concord a more productive organization. She will work with all Principals to optimize his/her business and identify new, creative ways to enhance processes and procedures for all parties.

Her work at previous companies includes positions focused on business development, lab optimization, and marketing. Sarah recently completed her MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management where she focused on strategy and operations.

Sarah is an avid scuba diver who wishes the Pacific Ocean was just a bit warmer.

Cayla Kondo

Chief Marketing Officer

Cayla is responsible for all marketing, branding and communications for Concord Companies and its subsidiaries. She leads strategic efforts to develop, implement, track, and optimize our media across all channels with a focus on demand generation and brand awareness in the marketplace.

Prior to joining Concord, Cayla worked for Rick Caruso for nearly a decade, supporting Caruso’s growth within California. She spearheaded new divisions and new initiatives within the organization and remained steadfast in her approach to showcasing Caruso’s best in class assets in retail, office and hospitality.

Outside of her life at Concord, Cayla enjoys food and wine (and martinis), and spending time outside hiking and running.

Uriel Luna

Chief Financial Officer

With over 15 years of experience in real estate, finance, investment, and accounting, Uriel adds a wide range of expertise to the Company including: financial system design, financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning, shareholder value creation, mergers and acquisition, tax planning, and risk management. In his day to day, he directs the financial operations, tax compliance, financial feasibility, business strategy, and risk management of the firm.

Uriel has held previous financial positions for institutional real estate firms specializing in development and management of multi-family, mixed-used, and commercial portfolios. Throughout his career, Uriel has negotiated close to $1B of corporate and project financing using traditional debt, joint venture equity, and off-balance sheet structures.

Uriel is a proud Trojan and encourages his team to Fight On.

Sherif Ebrahim

Senior Accountant

Sherif oversees all accounting functions for Concord Construction including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. He prepares monthly financial reporting and ensures that all reconciliations are accurate. In this role, he also manages billing functions to ensure prompt invoicing and cost comparison.

Sherif is from Egypt and worked there as a CPA. Before joining Concord Construction, he worked in accounting functions in the manufacturing, oil and gas, and real estate industries.

As a new resident of the United States, Sherif’s goal is to visit all 50 states.

Christine Freeze

Construction Office Manager

C hristine recently joined the Concord team as Construction Office Manager. In her previous roles, she was a Project Manager on both Residential and Commercial sides of the business. She focused on renovations and remodels of high-end Single Family Residences (SFR’s) as well as multifamily properties throughout Los Angeles County.

Christine has 18 years of leadership experience in construction management, finance, budgeting, Mergers & Acquisitions, and business development.

Christine is an animal lover and volunteers on the weekends to nurse animals back to health.

Joe Goldstein

Chief Operating Officer and Principal

Joe oversees all aspects of Operations for Concord across all asset classes. His day moves swiftly from budgeting and financial forecasting to construction management to oversight of new business development, and just about everything in between. He brings over a decade of extensive Multifamily and Commercial management experience for both private and institutional clients alike. Joe has managed over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial properties and 6,000+ apartment units in his career. Joe is keen to take on new opportunities and he’s focused on growing new markets so that our teams can optimally operate across the United States.

Prior to joining Concord, Joe served as the Chief Operating Officer for a large Los Angeles-based family office, where he oversaw a significant portfolio of assets. Joe has been raised in the Property Management side of the business and leads his team with his wealth of knowledge and experience.

Joe is a family man and loves being a #GirlDad.

Reuben Robin

Chief Executive Officer and Founding Principal

Reuben has two decades of experience in the real estate industry. With multiple companies under his command, Reuben is committed to growing Concord Companies into a national force as a real estate investment institution.

From humble beginnings, Reuben started his career in 2001 at a large national brokerage firm. In his 5-year tenure, he was personally responsible for $250 million in multifamily investment sales. By virtue of his ethics, integrity and aggressive negotiations, Reuben earned the National Rookie of the Year Award, five Sales Awards and two unprecedented National Achievement Awards, that firm’s highest honor.

Reuben then branched off to open his own shop, realizing an opportunity in the marketplace for a full-service real estate corporation comprised of industry executives and professionals. Under Reuben’s guidance, the business has grown from a one-person operation to a team consisting of more than 125 employees nationwide. With more than $2B in executed real estate transactions, Reuben has proven himself as a young force in the industry.

Reuben is a strong community supporter and works with a number of charitable organizations throughout Los Angeles and the United States. He sits on the boards of four organizations and has been instrumental in the building of 10+ community focused projects.

When not focused on growing Concord Companies and all of its subsidiaries, Reuben shares his love of travel with his wife Miri, his high school sweetheart, and their five children

David Escobar

Project Manager

David has been in the construction business since he was 17 years old, following in his father’s footsteps. David specializes in repairs, maintenance, and multifamily renovations. He is known to clients for his can-do attitude and his ability to effortlessly manage a multitude of projects. He hopes to become a general contractor in the future and continue his family’s legacy in the business.

On the weekends, David enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his Saint Bernard.

Sam Valensi

Managing Director and Principal

Sam oversees Concord Construction and all functions associated with building, restoring, and managing the construction pipeline for the Company. He runs both commercial and residential sides of construction development and has a stellar track record in the market.

Sam started working at 16 years old at a car wash that is Concord-affiliated and quickly ascended the ladder, always voicing his desire to grow more and take on new projects. Sam has had several jobs within the organization and is happy to have found his niche in construction management.

In his free time, Sam likes restoring classic cars.

Jonah Borris

Director of Construction

Jonah is a native Angeleno with over 25 years of residential and commercial construction experience. He is a second-generation builder specializing in high end projects throughout Los Angeles, focusing on his clients in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, Brentwood, West Hollywood, Silverlake, Hancock Park, Santa Monica and Venice Beach. He is known within the industry for his unparalleled customer service and attention to detail while remaining laser-focused on the bottom line. He enjoys working on all types of Architectural styles and with a variety of aesthetics.

In his spare time, Jonah enjoys spending time with his kids, running, and doing just about anything outdoors.
